Shayna Long
Shayna Long is the Senior Executive Director of Advancement Strategy & Engagement at UNC Charlotte. She oversees the annual giving team, advancement communications and prospect strategy and research team. Shayna helps lead the Development Committee of the UNC Charlotte Foundation Board. She coordinates engagement, giving and stewardship touch points across the division and alongside colleges and units. Prior to this role, Shayna led the annual giving team’s variety of initiatives, including crowdfunding, #GivingTuesday, and the University’s giving day, #NinerNationGives, to help to grow programmatic and scholarship support across the University. She holds a bachelor of arts in Arts Administration from the University of Kentucky and a master of arts in Arts Administration from the Savannah College of Art and Design. Shayna serves on the planning committee for the Southeast Annual Giving Conference, and is a member of the Council for Advancement and Support of Education and the Association of Fundraising Professionals Charlotte chapter.
