Allison Cales, a 2022 graduate of UNC Charlotte, currently holds the position of Coordinator of Student Philanthropy Initiatives for Annual Giving. In this capacity, she manages the Student Philanthropy Center, coordinates the execution of the Undergraduate and Graduate Class Gift Campaigns, and effectively oversees the operational facets of the Annual Giving Department.

Her journey in fundraising began during her time as a student caller at the Student Philanthropy Center, where her dedication and aptitude paved the way for successive supervisory roles while pursuing her undergraduate degree. Having graduated from UNC Charlotte with dual bachelor degrees in Anthropology and Communication Studies, Allison seamlessly transitioned into a full-time role within the Annual Giving team.

Allison actively collaborates with other esteemed professionals in University Advancement and aims to foster a culture of philanthropy and student engagement at UNC Charlotte.

Natalie Huie is a 2014 graduate from UNC Charlotte and serves as the Assistant Director for Annual Giving. Her key responsibilities are to manage student-led crowdfunding projects, lead #GivingTuesday initiatives, and oversee the Faculty/Staff campaign for #NinerNationGives. 

With over a decade of dedication to her alma mater, Natalie’s most significant impact stems from her commitment to amplifying a spirit of generosity, engagement, and unity among the university community. Her passion for fostering what she fondly dubs the “Niner spirit” is the driving force behind her invaluable contributions.

Natalie has been an integral part of numerous planning committees for the university’s major campaigns and events. Since graduation, she has been an active board member on four select UNC Charlotte alumni boards: Young Alumni Chapter, Alumni Campus Employees Network, Alumni Board of Directors, and College of Liberal Arts & Sciences Alumni Board.
