The Event Planners Council is a group of over 80 UNC Charlotte staff members, representing over 20 departments, who plan various events for the university. Their events include Chancellor-hosted events, large meetings and conferences, trade shows, departmental graduation ceremonies, athletic events, award recognitions, concerts, and coordinating safety and parking on campus.
The Event Planners Council meets quarterly to share updates from leadership on future event planning and will, on occasion, be co-hosted by campus partners who share details on new event space on campus and more. Our goal is to streamline the way we hold events on campus by sharing event guidelines and learning from each other’s experiences.
